Owner, Betty C. Roman has over 20 years experience as a licensed Skin Care therapist with her career in esthetics beginning in 1987. She is among a select group of estheticians who holds the coveted international CIDESCO Diploma, the world’s most prestigious qualification in the field of esthetics and beauty therapy.

Since 1957, the CIDESCO qualification has set standards that have been initiated over the five continents of the globe. In the late 1980’s she helped pioneer the way for separate esthetician licensing by co-founding the North Carolina Aesthetician Association (NCAA) in 1990. In addition she served on the curriculum committee for esthetics, is a nationally certified esthetics examiner, and continues to host state educational symposiums for NCAA. As pioneer, author, and educator, her passion for esthetics is evident in her continuing hands on approach in the spa setting as she shares her knowledge and training with her dedicated staff of therapists at
B Román Skin and Body Therapy.

Co-owner, Kemal Roman, graduated from the University of Ankara, Turkey, with a degree in Tourism, Hotel Management, and Business. He worked for the State Department for 12 years during which time he traveled and lived all over the world. He has experience interacting with people from many different cultures and backgrounds. Kemal's primary focus with the spa is administrative and accounting, however he brings his knowledge, experience, and diversified cultural background into the spa setting as well.

Together with Betty's vast knowledge and experience in spa therapies and Kemal's administrative and cultural background, they make a dynamic team for a unique, state of the art spa experience, setting the standard for spa therapies in the Triangle.

Jeffrey: Jeff has a very diverse background which began in high school and continued into college athletics, which then lead him to serve in the United States Air Force. In 1996 Jeff began his martial arts training at Kamiza in Apex, NC. There he continues his studies of Kantan under Master S.P. Sully. In addition to martial arts, Jeff focuses on his training of Pilates, Massage & Bodywork, and his love of music and art. Jeff graduated from The Medical Arts Massage School in 1997 and has been a dedicated team member of B-Roman Skin & Body Therapy for over 10 years. He is trained in a variety of bodywork modalities including Thai Massage, Myofacial Release, Shiatsu, Lomi Lomi, Trigger Point Therapy and holds Levels 1, 2, & 3 Reiki certifications.
